INSPIRING ISLANDER: LINDAH LEPOU

Lindah Lepou has long made her mark as a Pacific artist across many genres - as a soul singer, award winning designer and multi media artist.

Her many ventures in life have taken her from the runways of Australia and the Pacific to the stages of Europe, but at her heart will always be her Samoan gafa and lineage, which has shown itself in her many stories on stage, sound and screen.

This is one chapter in her story that celebrates her mutli dimensional genius.

Recently, Lindah has worked as set designer for AIGA, a theatre production by Samoan performance artist Lusi Faiva. 

AIGA is a show that ebbs, flows, dips forward into the wicked and tilts back toward the heavenly as we traverse through the experience of Lusi's beautiful and complex life story. Using music, movement and dramedy AIGA chronologically captures Lusi’s life from youth into adulthood, from 1960's Samoa, to the warrior that we bear witness to today. Learn more about Lusi here!
