"Kaulana Nā Pua," also know as "Mele 'Ai Pōhaku" or "Mele Aloha 'Āina," penned by Ellen Kekoaohiwaikalani Wright Prendergast in 1893 in response to the overthrow of Queen Lili'uokalani and the Hawaiian Kingdom. A mele with resounding significance for the Hawaiian lāhui then and now.
