Daniel Pouesi grew up and attended Samoa College in Samoa. A freelance writer and documentarian with a background in cultural anthropology and studio art, Daniel runs KIN, a small, home-based outfit that specializes in video and book production for the Pacific Island community. Married with three children, Daniel lives in the City of Carson, California, where he is currently working on a documentary "In Search of Tagaloa" and Flip-Flops, the second installment to his Samoan family saga trilogy.
