BORN OF CONFLICT - Children of the Pacific War
Between 1942 and 1945, more than 2 million Americans went to war in the South Pacific.
When World War II ended they went home leaving 100,000 dead, tons of military equipment and over 2,000 children.
This doco looks at the stories of three children left behind by American servicemen posted to the Pacific during WWII.
Now in their early 70s, these children were identified through an Otago University research programme.
