Dwayne Johnson talks about taking his Mum, Ata Maivia to the "Hobbs & Shaw" set and how she reacted when she saw their Samoan culture represented in the movie.

The Rock takes us behind the scenes with him where they're shooting some of the Samoan sequences in Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw.

He talks about getting to showcase his culture on a global scale and having his Mum on set when they're shooting the Siva Tau.

He also visited the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and brought awareness again to what is happening in Hawai'i with Mauna Kea.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson introduces us to the 'uso's' that play his brothers in 'Hobbs & Shaw' and they're ALL Polynesian.

And the one uso he knew he had to get because they're related .... Roman Reigns 

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson takes us behind the scenes of his world premiere in Los Angeles.

"It's the very first time that the culture of Samoa has ever been showcased in a big global movie like this" he said before the screening in Hollywood.

This evening Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson accepted the Generation Award at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards, telling fans that “the most powerful thing that we can be is ourselves.”

"What you saw up here tonight that's who I am, I'm proudly half black and half Samoan and I wanted to bring those cultures here for the world to see.  Yes, it's important to be your authentic self, I'm a walking example of that."  - The Rock 

The Generation Award celebrates beloved actors whose diverse contributions to both film and television have turned them into household names. Past recipients of the award include Chris Pratt, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Sandra Bullock, Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, and the Fast & Furious franchise.

Samoan actor KJ Apa - he currently stars as Archie on Riverdale & will also star in the upcoming Netflix  romantic comedy The Last Summer which comes out on the 3rd of May. 

He visited the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon recently and talked about what he'll miss most about his Riverdale co-star Luke Perry and explained his photo tribute he posted on Instagram after his sudden death in the video above.

He also chops it up with Jimmy about his love of romantic comedies and touring with his rock band Legend.
