Symone Tafuna'i to represent Samoa at Glasgow Commonwealth Games

Samoan sprinter Symone Tafuna'i will represent Samoa at the 2026 Commonwealth Games, becoming the country's only female sprinter at the competition.

After changing her sporting allegiance from New Zealand to Samoa, she's enjoyed a standout season, winning the Polynesian women's 100m title and establishing herself as one of Samoa's top athletics talents. Now, she'll compete on one of the Commonwealth's biggest stages wearing the blue and red.
