This week on “Tafaoga, Experience our Beautiful Samoa”, we’re trying something different! Our hosts Hughie and Young Sefa head to the village of Manase on the big island of Savaii, famous for its white sandy beaches and long stretch of beach fales. However, this week, the boys won’t be surfing or swimming, but instead they’ll be heading into the bush to try their hand at traditional pig hunting or trapping. Will the hunters become the hunted? Our hosts Young Sefa and Hughie take us on a diving expedition in search of vibrant marine life and an old ship wreck, and then head to Apia Harbour for some stand-up paddle boarding. In Episode 2 of 'Tafaoga, Experience our Beautiful Samoa', Hughie and Young Sefa go off the beaten track with a hike up Nuutele Island where they encounter coconut crabs and amazing bird-life and then do some turtle-spotting and snorkelling at the serene Aganoa Beach.
