Award winning Samoan multimedia artist Angela Tiatia shares the story behind her luscious Island hair - and how it scares people in her Sydney neighborhood.. A former model and TV presenter for 'Tagata Pasifika', Angela Tiatia left being in front of the camera to focus on being behind it as a multimedia video artist. She has gone on to become one of Australia's leading artists in this discipline, and has put imagery of Pasifika women in the forefront of her work.  Hair stories from across the Moana form the narrative of the documentary 'Adorn,' which looks at the beautiful ancestral rituals of how we treated our hair, and the ways that women today are using their hair as a proud signifier of Pasifika identity.  Watch the 'Adorn' documentary here!
