Brisbane based musician Joe Malafu has released his first single 'Ela' - a vibrant, reggae style track.
It gives us a first look into his upcoming EP set to drop later in the year.
Hailing from Auckland, NZ, Joe first discovered his passion for music at his family church. He took a leap of faith and moved to Australia to become a professional drummer.
From there he was asked to join indie pop singer-songwriter Amy Shark on her first nationwide tour and has starred alongside her for the past 5 years. It has allowed him to make valuable connections in the industry.
He's performed live on Jimmy Fallon as well as gigs with the likes of Kendrick Lamar and Bruno Mars and has travelled the world with a pair of drumsticks and a vision for the next generation - to reshape the way that culture defines your future - using it instead to drive inspiration and passion for other young Polynesian kids just like him, who thrive amongst the unconventional and extraordinary.
