Laumanu Nasoa cover by Pukepuke o Tonga

Laumanu Nasoa is a song specifically written for the Carmel College Tongan Polyfest group of 2006 (in Auckland).

That was the first time ever the College had a group perform and compete at Polyfest. It was also the first time a Tongan Group from the Northshore had taken part in the cultural festival on the Tongan stage.

This song was written by Paulo Ahosivi Tatuila and performed by Pukepuke 'o Tonga of the Lomipeau tradition.

Since 2011 Pukepuke 'o Tonga has been presenting works within Auckland and in Tonga with a focus in showcasing the Lomipeau music by way of live performances within Theatre, Arts/ Dance Festivals, community events and schools as a way of preserving the unique sound and movement that is Lomipeau.

The Lomipeau album is due to launch on APRIL 8th 2017.
