Hawaiian singing sensation Josh Tatofi is one of a few Pacific artists to be nominated for a Grammy in the ‘Best Regional Roots Album’ category.
This category is for albums containing at least 51 % playing time of new vocal or instrumental regional roots music recordings.
In 2016 Josh Tatofi released his first ever-Hawaiian language single, titled "Pua Kiele" on BuPrint Records, the album of the same name soon followed Pua Kiele. Played on Hawaiian radio stations it was one of the top selling albums in 2016.
Josh has become known as “The Luther Vandross of Hawaii”, consistently expressing his soul through Hawaiian mele.
